Fishisfast is continuing to monitor the situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Currently, we are not experiencing any direct operational impacts as a result of the pandemic. In our warehouse, we have taken steps to clean and disinfect all work areas and tools regularly according to CDC recommendations. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has stated there is low risk that COVID-19 can be spread from products or packaging, because of poor survivability of coronaviruses on surfaces. Some couriers may experience delays as the number of commercial flights has been drastically reduced. Many carriers have set up pages dedicated to updates, which we have included below. We will continue to monitor and post any major updates on this page as we become aware of them. 

Many states in the US have ordered all non-essential businesses to close. Warehousing & shipping companies are considered essential services, so Fishisfast will remain open with reduced staff, safely practicing recommended distancing & sanitization guidelines. 

Emergency Situation Fee

Some carriers are charging an emergency situation fee on shipments. More information can be found here.

Delays to Some Areas

Many areas that are under lockdown are experiencing delivery delays because carriers are unable to deliver the packages because authorities have banned entry into some areas. In those cases, packages will be delivered as soon as the courier is allowed to enter those areas. As of April 3, 2020 Affected areas include:
